The Disability Action Plan was developed in accordance with the VPA’s core values to ensure that all persons, including those with disabilities, have access to our premises, are able to participate in community engagement and consultation activities, and can access information about our key planning projects.
It outlines specific strategies and actions that the organisation can take to meet the four key outcomes that are outlined in the Disability Act 2006, which all public sector bodies must align with.
The VPA is committed to the implementation of this plan, including regular reviews of its effectiveness and ensuring adherence to the latest standards, as we strive to reduce barriers for those with a disability and engage with all members of our community.
