The Victorian Planning Authority proudly acknowledges Victoria’s Aboriginal community and their rich culture and pays respect to their Elders past and present.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as Australia’s first peoples and as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and water on which we rely.

We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal people and communities to Victorian life and how this enriches us.

We embrace the spirit of reconciliation, working towards the equality of outcomes and ensuring an equal voice.

Melbourne Planning Summit 2019

Our CEO Stuart Moseley presented at the Melbourne Planning Summit on 17 July 2019. Stuart spoke about Victoria’s population growth, the VPA’s role and what the VPA considers its four big challenges. These challenges are suburban jobs, density done well, growth aligned infrastructure and unlocking the regions.

Our Acting Executive Director, Peter Sagar also presented as part of the National Employment and Innovation Clusters and their impact on Greater Metropolitan Melbourne session.
