The Victorian Planning Authority proudly acknowledges Victoria’s Aboriginal community and their rich culture and pays respect to their Elders past and present.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as Australia’s first peoples and as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and water on which we rely.

We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal people and communities to Victorian life and how this enriches us.

We embrace the spirit of reconciliation, working towards the equality of outcomes and ensuring an equal voice.

Project Status Updates

Project Status Updates – April 2023

Following the 2022 Victorian Election, the Government appointed a new cabinet and made a number of changes to Victorian Government departments. The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) is now in the process of briefing across Government on our work program, including our planning for Clyde South Precinct Structure Plan (PSP)

This process takes time, and we are working hard to minimise any impacts on the timing of this project.

According to our previous timeframes, we were expecting to commence pitching by March 2023. These activities have been delayed.

We appreciate your patience while we work to confirm our timeframes and next steps for Clyde South. We will provide another update by June, or once our work program is confirmed.

In the meantime, we will continue to finalise the necessary documentation for the project, including third party funding information.

If you are interested in participating in third party funding, please contact Laurie Mitchell, Project Manager, at Laurie.Mitchell@vpa.vic.gov.au
