Project Status Updates – October 2022

The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) has been progressing the planning for Wonthaggi North East following the Standing Advisory Committee (the Committee) Tranche 2 Hearing in June 2022. 

Since our last update in mid 2022, we have:  

• Completed the Wonthaggi North East PSP Standing Advisory Committee Tranche 2 Hearing. 
• Circulated the Committee’s final report, which outlines the findings from the Tranche 2 hearing. 
• Been updating our technical documents to resolve and finalise the Committee’s recommendations.

In the coming months we will be focused on updating the Precinct Structure Plan (PSP), Development Contributions Plan (DCP) and Native Vegetation Precinct Plan (NVPP) and supporting technical documents in preparation for the Minister for Planning to review for approval.
