Premier Announces Two New VPA PSPs

The Victorian Government has announced further funding to deliver more family homes with backyards in Melbourne’s outer suburbs. 

The Victorian Planning Authority will soon commence planning work for 13,200 new homes and 8,600 jobs in greenfield suburbs through two new Precinct Structure Plans at Clyde South in Melbourne’s south-east and Derrimut Fields in the west. 

These projects are identified as part of the 10 year Greenfields Plan and will formally commence in the 2025-26 financial year. 

Further details on these two projects will be provided in VPA Business Plan for 2025-26, which is required to be provided to the Minister by 31 May. Once approved, it will be available on the VPA website.
