What does this mean for my business?
When the rezoning comes into effect, it will not affect the day-to-day operations of your business as you can continue to operate under existing use rights. If you are proposing development or a change of use on your property, the responsible authority (Council) will assess that proposal on the merits of the Industrial 3 Zone instead of the Industrial 1 Zone.
