Getting to the Victorian Planning Authority

The Victorian Planning Authority is situated at 1 Spring Street, corner of Flinders Street. It is an easy walk from Parliament Station and is serviced by trams along Spring Street and Flinders Street, including the free City Circle Tram. Street and commercial parking is available nearby. On reaching 1 Spring Street, if you need assistance then please seek directions from the concierge desk in the entrance to the building, which is staffed between 8am and 5pm. 

Walking

The offices are readily accessible on foot and wheelchair access to the building is available from the Spring Street main entrance. 

Public Transport

Public transport planning can be made using Public Transport Victoria’s Travel Planner https://ptv.vic.gov.au/journey

TRAIN: Parliament station has platform to street lift access from the Bourke Street exit.

TRAM: The Spring St/Flinders St is an accessible stop close to our office. The stop is serviced by Routes 35 and 75. 

The Spring St/Collins St #8 is an accessible stop close to our office. The stop is serviced by Routes 11, 12, 48 and 109.  

BUS: The VPA offices are not directly accessible by bus. Bus access will require an interchange to one of the above services or walking.

TAXI: A taxi rank is located on Collins Street near 35 Collins Street. Or on Exhibition Street between Flinders Street and Flinders Lane.

CAR: Limited metered 1 hour on-street parking is available in the surrounding streets. Accessible parking is also available in the surrounding streets, with the closest spot outside 55 Collins Street or refer to the City of Melbourne website.

Privately operated, off-street parking is located nearby. Please check the parking rates on the Parkopedia website.
