Getting to the Victorian Planning Authority

The Victorian Planning Authority is situated on Collins Street, between Spring and Exhibition Street. It is an easy walk from Parliament Station and is serviced by trams along Collins Street and Flinders Street, and by the free City Circle Tram along Spring Street. Street and commercial parking is available nearby. On reaching 35 Collins Street, if you need assistance then please seek directions from the concierge desk in the entrance to the building, which is staffed between 8am and 5pm.

Walking

The offices are readily accessible on foot, but please note there is a steep hill if you are coming from Flinders Street. Wheelchair access to the building is available from the Collins Street frontage directly between buildings 35 and 55.

Public Transport

Public transport planning can be made using Public Transport Victoria’s Travel Planner https://ptv.vic.gov.au/journey

TRAIN: Parliament station has platform to street lift access from the Bourke Street exit.

TRAM: Stop 8-Spring St/Collins St is an accessible stop right outside our offices. The stop is serviced by Routes 11, 12, 48 and 109. Most Route 109 and some Route 48 trams are low floor.

BUS: The VPA offices are not directly accessible by bus. Bus access will require an interchange to one of the above services or walking.

TAXI: A taxi rank is located outside our front door. If you require a Wheelchair Accessible Taxi for your return journey, our receptionist is happy to book one for you.

CAR: Limited metered 1 hour on-street parking is available in the surrounding streets. Accessible parking is also available in the surrounding streets, with the closest spot outside 55 Collins Street or refer to the Health and support services website here.

Privately operated, off-street parking is located nearby. Please check the parking rates on the Parkopedia website here.
