Broader engagement events are currently underway, with the aim of informing the wider community about the progress of the project.

CRG meetings

The following dates have been scheduled for community reference group meetings. The agenda for each meeting will be released no later than the Friday prior to said meeting.

Group members are expected to attend all meetings wherever possible.

CRG meeting 1

Wednesday 23 May 2018, 6pm – 8.30pm

Key outputs:

• CRG to develop ideas for a community vision for Preston Market site.

CRG meeting 2

Thursday 7 June, 6pm – 8.30pm

Key outputs:

• CRG to endorse community vision for Preston Market site.
• CRG to provide principles and priorities for future elements for Preston Market site including public realm, accessibility, housing, retail and community infrastructure.

CRG meeting 3

Wednesday 27 June, 6pm – 8.30pm

 Key outputs:

• CRG to explore different planning outcomes and how they meet the general principles and priorities for the future planning of the Preston Market site.

CRG meeting 4

Wednesday 8 August, 6pm – 8.30pm

Key ouputs:

• CRG to produce a final report which will summarise their feedback to inform recommendations to the Minister about the review of planning controls for the site.

Each meeting will be held in the function room at the Northern Blues Football Club, Preston City Oval, Cramer Street, Preston VIC 3072
