How is my personal information protected?
We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).
When making a submission, either as an individual or on behalf of an organisation, we will ask you, to provide your name and certain contact information (name and email address). We use this personal information to identify and contact you about your submission and the Bendigo Regional Employment Precinct.
This information will be used for this purpose only and is held securely within the VPA. You are entitled to access your personal information we hold. The personal information we ask for is considered necessary to enable us to undertake transparent, effective and accountable public engagement.
When you include information about other individuals, including personal information in your submission, we advise that you make them aware that their personal information will or may be provided to us as part of your submission. Where possible, please do not include information that identifies other individuals in your submission.
Your submission will be made available for public inspection on the VPA website until two months after gazettal of the resulting planning scheme amendment and will also be made available to relevant Ministers and local councils, and other involved government agencies. In addition, your submission will be made available to developers, landowners, other submitters and interested parties on request.
Your submission may be provided in its entirety to a Standing Advisory Committee appointed to advise the Minister for Planning on referred projects and plans and associated draft planning scheme amendments. If you are a private individual, your personal information will be redacted from your submission before it is released to parties outside government or local councils.
By making a submission, you consent to your submission being made public, and being identified as the author of the submission.
