Project Status Updates – October 2022

The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) has been preparing to receive the Ministerial Advisory Committee (MAC) Panel report for the Beveridge North West precinct, and has been coordinating land valuation inputs for the Infrastructure Contribution Plan (ICP). 

Following the completion of the MAC in July 2022, the VPA has: 

• Continued to investigate and progress further work to determine the alignment of the western arterial road, as per the VPA’s final submission to the MAC. 
• Circulated and responded to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurung’s preferred western arterial road alignment.  

In the coming months the VPA will be focused on finalising the Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) and ICP in preparation for submitting to the Minister for Planning. Pending the Minister’s approval, the PSP and ICP will be gazetted into the Mitchell Shire Planning Scheme.
