Project Status Updates
Project Status Update – September 2025
We have progressed planning for the Merrifield North PSP by successfully completing the pitching phase for the project. We will continue progressing Third Party Funding (TPF) and technical inputs, while actively engaging with stakeholders and landowners.
Since our last project status update in July 2025, we have:
- Completed the pitching activities, including:
- Stakeholder pitching sessions (in-person and hybrid) which provided an opportunity to discuss stakeholder opportunities, challenges, and aspirations for the precinct.
- Completed a Draft Pitching Summary Report (August 2025) which was shared with precinct stakeholders and updated in response to feedback received. A final version of this report will soon be shared with these stakeholders.
- Completed the first stage of the Visioning and Purpose phase of stakeholder engagement consisting of a two-hour Visioning and Purpose Session on 28 July 2025.
- Received formal expressions of interest from several precinct landowners to participate in the third party funding process for the required technical assessments.
- Progressed procurement of technical inputs for the project.
In the coming weeks, we will be focused on finalising the Draft Visioning and Purpose Preliminary Report (September 2025) while commencing meetings with project governance bodies (e.g Steering Committee). Additionally, we will work to finalise TPF agreements with landowners and commence technical assessments.
