Project Status Update – September  2025

We have progressed the planning for the Merrimu Precinct by continuing to refine the place-based plan and precinct structure plan in preparation for formal engagement with state agencies. 

Since our last update in July, we have: 

• Engaged additional planning expertise to boost resources on the project. 
• Met with a range of landowners and other key stakeholders to confirm matters needing resolution ahead of formal Council and State agency consultation. 
• Worked with landowners in the precinct to finalise a series of important technical inputs to the PSP.

In the coming months, we will be focused on finalising the remaining critical technical reports and making associated updates to the place-based plan in preparation for Council and State Agency consultation in coming weeks.
