Project Status Updates

Project Status Update – September 2025

Since our last update in July 2025, we have continued to rescope the project and audit the existing body of technical work that was undertaken prior to the project being paused.   

This includes: 

• Reviewing all technical work to ensure compliance with current legislation while assessing which additional studies are required to develop the Precinct Structure Plan.  
• Updating the biodiversity report to include a Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon (VGED) habitat assessment. 
• Meeting with Wadawurrung Traditional Owners. 
• Continuing to refine and update project milestones and project timing. 

In the coming months, we will be focussed on: 

• Updating stakeholders on the project’s process and delivery timelines.  
• Commissioning new and updated existing technical reports. 
• Finalising the VGED habitat assessment.
