Project Status Updates

Project Status Update – April 2026

Since our last update in February 2026, we are continuing to update and finalise the technical work package in response to recommendations from the Standing Advisory Committee.

Specifically, we have completed:

  • A road safety audit for Burnside Road, between 499 Burnside Road and the Hamilton Highway.
  • An updated drainage concept plan and additional work on transport elements.
  • Continued to meet with key stakeholder meetings to progress resolution of recommendations from the Standing Advisory Committee.

In the coming months, we will be focused on finalising technical work, particularly on transport matters. Once the amendment documents are finalised, they will be submitted to the Minister for Planning to be considered for gazettal into the planning scheme.
