Project Status Updates

Project Status Update – June 2026

We have progressed the planning for the Merrimu precinct by continuing to review and resolve submissions that were received during the public consultation period (6 March to 9 April 2026).

Since our last update in April 2026, we have:

  • Met with a number of key submitters to resolve issues.
  • Continued to collaborate with Melbourne Water to progress the precinct’s drainage scheme.
  • Progressed additional technical work to assess transport infrastructure, bushfire planning and early work costs.
  • Begun testing potential land use changes to the plan to address concerns outlined in submissions, including the location of roads and schools.

In the coming months, we will be working to provide written responses to all submitters and continue to resolve issues.
