The Victorian Planning Authority proudly acknowledges Victoria’s Aboriginal community and their rich culture and pays respect to their Elders past and present.

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as Australia’s first peoples and as the Traditional Owners and custodians of the land and water on which we rely.

We recognise and value the ongoing contribution of Aboriginal people and communities to Victorian life and how this enriches us.

We embrace the spirit of reconciliation, working towards the equality of outcomes and ensuring an equal voice.

Project Status Updates

Project Status Updates – July 2023

Following our last update in April, the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) conducted a quarterly review of our work program. These reviews help us manage program pressures, address technical issues and align with government policy.

Most of our projects remain under active progression with minimal impact on timelines. However, a few projects require resolution of technical issues outside the VPA remit or involve policy matters requiring Government decision and the need to potentially reprioritise our resources.

The Clyde South team will continue to progress work related to transport and drainage matters in consultation with the Department of Transport and Planning (Transport) and Melbourne Water.

In the coming months, we will continue working with government and stakeholder agencies to understand priorities and the work program for Clyde South PSP. The commencement timing of the PSP will be discussed as part of future business planning.

We acknowledge stakeholders’ concerns about the revised timeframes.

As per our usual practice, we will provide another update on the status of our work program in September or as directed by the Minister for Planning.
