Project Status Update – December 2022
The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) has been progressing the planning for Wonthaggi North East by finalising technical reports in response to recommendations from the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee (SAC).
The SAC has recommended updates and additional information to inform the Precinct Structure Plan and Development Contributions Plan. You can see the SAC’s full report and recommendations via the link below.
Since our last update in October, we have been working with technical experts to finalise the Wonthaggi North East Revised Drainage Strategy and Wonthaggi North East Functional Designs and Costings Report. We expect these reports to be completed in April 2023.
Once we receive this final technical advice, we will finalise our plans and planning scheme amendment as soon as possible to submit to the Minister for Planning for approval.
