Plan Greater Bendigo
Plan Greater Bendigo is the first stage of implementing the Loddon Mallee South Regional Growth Plan (now referred to as the Loddon Campaspe Regional Growth Plan) which is a strategic framework plan for the region including the municipalities of Greater Bendigo, Campaspe, Central Goldfields, Loddon, Macedon Ranges and Mount Alexander.
Plan Greater Bendigo will clearly outline the top 10 to 15 infrastructure projects required in Greater Bendigo and the broader Loddon Campaspe Region, to deliver and support jobs and population growth over a 30 year timeframe.
Plan Greater Bendigo will consider projects and initiatives across State Government agencies, the City, stakeholders and the community. Consideration will be given to the inclusion of a mix of projects for urban Bendigo, rural area and small townships, and the broader Loddon Campaspe Region.
Plan Greater Bendigo is being prepared by the City of Greater Bendigo in conjunction with the Victorian Planning Authority (VPA), and the Regional Office of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP). The City received funding support from the State Government via the VPA to prepare Plan Greater Bendigo.
