Infrastructure

Essential infrastructure plays a major role in supporting our economy, productivity and way of life.

The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) actively works with our major stakeholders in planning infrastructure in parallel with our land use planning. Our approach to infrastructure planning integrates land use planning with planning for the necessary utilities and water, roads and public transport, parks and ovals, kindergartens and community centres and schools. A key focus is on addressing the practical aspects of funding and delivery of the critical infrastructure needed to support our communities.
