Project Status Update – September 2025

We have progressed the planning for the Casey Fields South (Employment) & Devon Meadows precincts by reviewing submissions, working towards resolving submission items, and updating the amendment documents for the Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) hearing.

Since our last update in July, we have:

  • Reviewed and provided formal responses to 58 submissions.
  • Facilitated landowner information sessions and one-on-one submitter meetings to resolve issues.
  • Updated amendment documents including the Precinct Structure Plan, background report, plan sets, and planning ordinance for the panel hearing.
  • Attended the Directions Hearing on 18 August 2025.
  • Referred the draft Casey Planning Scheme Amendment C295case specific submissions and other supporting documents to the SAC.

Throughout September, the project team will continue to engage with submitters and stakeholders to resolve issues and establish whole-of-government positions.

In the coming months we will be focused on the SAC hearing scheduled for six weeks from 1 October 2025 to 10 November 2025.
