Why is public consultation being brought forward to August 2026?
To give effect to the Economic Growth Statement and streamlining planning processes in the VPA Business Plan 2025-26, Merrifield North was fast-tracked subject to securing Third Party Funding. To implement the Government’s commitment to bringing employment land to market, public consultation was brought forward and the preparation of the Merrifield North PSP was prepared on an accelerated program.
