Project Status Updates

Project Status Updates – July 2024

Since our last update in May 2024, we have continued to progress planning for the Ballarat North Precinct Structure Plan (PSP).

Over the next few months, we will be continuing to finalise outstanding technical reports. See the Documents tab below for a comprehensive list of technical reports.

We recently held our co-design workshop which provided an opportunity for precinct landowners within the core area and agency stakeholders to consider a draft place-based plan. The aim of the workshop was to collaboratively work towards planning solutions by considering the technical findings and range of objectives for the PSP.

No decision has yet been made on the expanded area, however, in order to progress the project, we are basing our strategic planning on the core area. Notwithstanding, our transport and infrastructure planning considers both the core and expanded areas to ensure future capacity to service both areas is possible.

We will now prepare a summary document to capture key discussions and outcomes of the co-design workshop. Once completed, this summary will be published on our website for review.
