Project Status Updates

Project Status Update – February 2026

Since our last update in November 2025, public consultation on the draft Amendment was undertaken from 13 November to 11 December 2025, during which 56 submissions were received. During consultation, we held in-person and online sessions for community members to ask questions and learn more about the GAEP. 

In the coming months, we will focus on: 

  • Reviewing and responding to all submissions made during Public Consultation. 
  • Updating the draft planning scheme amendment documents.  
  • Preparing for the Standing Advisory Committee to be held in March / April 2026.
