Project Status Update – February 2026

Planning for the Devon Meadows and Casey Fields South (Employment) precincts has progressed following the first tranche of the Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) hearing in October 2025. Since then, we have actioned and investigated a range of matters raised during that hearing while working closely with landowners and other submitters to resolve or narrow the issues to be considered at the second tranche of the SAC hearing, commencing 24 February 2026.  

Since our last update in December, we have: 

  • Continued to engage with a range of submitters to refine the Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) ahead of the Tranche 2 Standing Advisory Committee Hearing. 
  • Circulated an updated ‘Day 2’ PSP to participants in the SAC process and in doing so resolved a number of matters outlined in submissions to the draft PSP. 
  • In association with Melbourne Water, we circulated an updated Development Services Scheme in response to submissions and ongoing engagement with landowners. 

In the coming months, we will be focused on concluding the SAC hearing, identifying further PSP refinements and initiating land valuations in preparation for finalisation of the structure plan in mid 2026.
