Kororoit (Part 2)
Kororoit (Part 2) is located in the City of Melton. It includes the land bounded by Clarke Road to the east, the Western Freeway to the south, Sinclairs Road to the west and Kororoit Creek to the north.
The planning of Kororoit (Part 2) will need to integrate with the future Kororoit Creek Regional Park which occupies the majority of the precinct. The Kororoit Creek Regional Park boundaries have been approved and finalised. Project Status Update – February 2026
We have progressed planning for the Kororoit (Part 2) PSP by continuing preparation of background studies and engaging with Melbourne Water, Wurundjeri Aboriginal Corporation and other key stakeholders on emerging issues.
Since our last update in November, we have:
- Commenced preparation of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Impact Assessment for the precinct.
- Progressed preparation of other background studies.
- Commenced the review of land use and planning implications of the draft reports.
- Commenced drafting the PSP.
In the coming months, we will be focused on finalising draft reports and preparing the planning scheme amendment package in preparation for consultation with relevant agencies.
