Rockbank South PSP & ICP
The Victorian Planning Authority (VPA) is leading the preparation of a Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) and Infrastructure Contributions Plan (ICP) for the Rockbank South precinct, working in partnership with Melton City Council, state government agencies and service authorities.

Rockbank South PSP includes land currently used in a rural capacity
The Rockbank South PSP is located 27km west of central Melbourne and 9km southeast of Melton. The PSP encompasses an area of 703ha, bounded by the Rockbank PSP to the north, the future Outer Metropolitan Ring transport corridor to the east, the Western Grasslands Reserve and farming properties to the south, and Mt Cottrell Road to the west. The PSP will complement existing surrounding development through the provision of residential and commercial opportunities. The precinct is included in the Melbourne Strategic Assessment area and includes a Biodiversity Conservation Strategy Conservation Area located centrally.
