Warragul and Drouin Precinct Structure Plan

Amendment C108 to the Baw Baw Planning Scheme

The Warragul and Drouin Precinct Structure Plan was approved in October 2014 and gazetted as Amendment C108 to the Baw Baw Planning Scheme. Baw Baw Shire Council prepared the Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) to guide the future expansion of Warragul and Drouin. These plans have been prepared in conjunction with the Victorian Planning Authority.

Long term development of land identified in the Warragul and Drouin precinct structure plans will create approximately 20,000 new homes, 100ha of additional commercial and industrial space and 130ha of open space for sports facilities and parks.

The plan makes provision for new infrastructure and services needed for future communities, including identifying housing supply areas, transport networks, employment opportunities, open space and natural systems, local shops, and community facilities.
