Project Status Updates – January 2025

The VPA have progressed planning for Croskell (Employment) by reviewing and resolving issues raised by submitters during the public consultation period that ran from 11 September to 9 October 2024.

Since our last update in November, we have: 

  • Reviewed and provided formal responses to all 31 submissions received during the public consultation period. 
  • Updated technical reports to resolve submissions – a full list of updated technical reports will be provided prior to the commencement of the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee in March 2025.  
  • Referred draft Casey Planning Scheme Amendment C296case, specific submissions and other supporting documents to the VPA Projects Standing Advisory Committee on 23 December 2024. 

The Committee has advised that it will hold a Directions hearing for this matter at 10.00am Monday, 3 February 2025. The Directions hearing is public, and open for anyone to observe. For more information, please refer to Planning Panels VPA Projects Referral 11 – Croskell Employment 

In the coming months, our efforts will centre on preparing for the Directions Hearing scheduled for February 2025, followed by the commencement of the Standing Advisory committee hearing itself in March 2025.
