Project Status Updates – January 2025

We have been meeting regularly with Melton City Council and other key stakeholders to progress the planning for the Melton East Precinct Structure Plan (PSP).  

Since our last update in November, we have: 

• Received approval from the Minister for Planning to undertake public consultation. 
• Nominated a planned public consultation period commencing at the end of February to March 2025. 
• Advanced our draft PSP and amendment package with input from government stakeholders. 
• Finalised inputs for the Infrastructure Contributions Plan. 

In the coming months, we will focus on finalising the inputs needed to undertake public consultation in February 2025. All remaining technical studies, including transport and Aboriginal Cultural Heritage assessments will be made available on the VPA website.
