Project Status Update – June 2026

Since our last update in April 2026, we have concluded the Standing Advisory Committee (SAC) process. The SAC Hearing ran from 29 April to 19 May 2026.

The SAC is an independent committee appointed to provide recommendations to the project team on how to address key issues. The SAC will review all the submissions and information presented at the hearing and prepare their independent report.

The referred matters the SAC will provide advice relate to:

  • Flooding, drainage and integrated water management
  • Biodiversity
  • Planning scheme ordinance matters

In the coming months, we will focus on finalising the Amendment Documents for consideration by the Minister for Planning.
